Inauguration of an industrial unit specialized in valuing sea products for the Korean Gulf Union Company.
The Minister of Industry, Mines and Energy, Mrs. Nayla Nouira Al-Qenji, supervised on Monday, March 7th, 2022 the inauguration ceremony of an industrial unit specialized in the valorization of blue crab, entirely destined for export, with the presence of HE South Korean Ambassador to Tunisia.
The total value of this project is estimated at $2.6 millions and will provide about 517 direct jobs and 1000 indirect jobs.
It should be noted that Zarzis Park of Economic Activities has set up an industrial warehouse that matches the requirements of this company, at a cost of approximately 2 million dinars.
It also conducted the technical and legal briefing in order to obtain all the necessary licenses to engage in the actual activity.
The Minister of Industry, Mines and Energy visited, also, some of the start-up companies installed in Zarzis Smart Center and was briefed on the progress of the completion of the second installment of this center on an area of about 4,500 sqm, which will be equipped with CAVE VR technologies, which will provide an operating capacity of 560 graduate degree with a total investment about 10 million dinars in the framework of a Tunisian-German partnership.
